• Chan - ucapan/gelar nama yang tidak formal yang biasanya dipakai untuk memanggil nama anak-anak dan perempuan, juga dapat juga dipakai untuk memanggil nama binatang peliharaan, nama pacar, nama teman yang sangat dekat atau orang yang sudah dikenal dari kecil. Contoh panggilan Naruto ke sakura (teman dekat), 

• Kun - ucapan/gelar nama yang tidak formal yang biasa digunakan terutama pada laki-laki, juga dapat digunakan memanggil nama orang yg statusnya lebih rendah. Seperti guru ke muridnya.Contoh

• Senpai - gelar nama yang biasanya digunakan untuk memanggil kakak kelas di sekolah mereka Contoh 

• Sensei - gelar nama yang biasanya digunakan untuk memanggil guru, dokter, pengacara penulis dsb. Contoh 

• san -  gelar nama yang paling sering digunakan, gelar ini biasanya di pakai memanggil nama kenalan, orang yang lebih tua, dsb. Contoh
